Academic Probation & Recovery

If a student's cumulative GPA falls below a 2.0 or if a student completes two consecutive semesters with term GPAs below 2.0, they will be placed on academic probation for the following semester. A student must achieve "Good Standing" or make progress toward such within two semesters or they will be required to withdraw. The rules below were made effective Spring 2018.

Students who are required to withdraw due to lack of academic progress may appeal for re-admittance to the university after two semesters.
