The Call - Leadership Weekend

Don't miss your opportunity to get involved this next year! Organizations from across campus will choose the top candidates to fill open positions within their teams. Organizations participating include:

  • Presidential Ambassadors
  • Student Involvement (SUUSA)
  • Community Attaches
  • Leavitt Center
  • COSE (College of Science and Engineering Board)
  • International Ambassadors

    The leadership questionnaire asks a few further questions about yourself, your leadership experience and insight into why you want to be involved. You will need to provide a headshot photo of yourself and either the link to your video or the date of your scheduled interview.
  • Complete either a 2-minute Video Resume OR a Preliminary Interview held on campus on a specified date. 
    (one or the other is required, not both)
    Video resumes should be no longer than 2 minutes and be posted to YouTube, you will then provide the link within your questionnaire. We are looking to get to know your personality, why you are choosing SUU and why we should select you to move forward as a finalist. Be creative and have some fun!

    If you are choosing to participate in a preliminary interview, you must schedule the interview with with the Welcome Center by calling (111-111-7741). Interviews will be approximately 15 minutes in length and will only be available on the following dates: January 11th, January 14th, January 24th, and before the January 25th Red Riot overnight. Times will be varied throughout the day and will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. You must call during business hours to schedule the interview (8am - 5pm MST).

    Finalists will be chosen by February 5th. All applicants will be contacted through email regarding their status - finalist or non-finalist. Leadership Weekend will begin around Noon on Friday February 22nd and continue through Saturday afternoon. Finalists are required to attend the entire weekend. If you are unable to attend due to an emergency, we can look into scheduling a separate tryout on a case by case basis. However, you will be at a disadvantage to those who were able to participate in the full weekend. More information will be provided upon invitation.
