Class standing is determined by the amount of credits you have earned at the time of registration. As a transfer student, you will need to register yourself through your . You can do this by clicking on the "Registration" link on the left side of your portal (or under "Banner" in the menu on mobile devices). Please visit the Registration Help page for answers to frequently asked questions and tutorials on how to register. We encourage you to schedule a meeting with your Student Success Advisor (academic advisor) at (111) 111-5420 to ensure you get the best start possible.
  2. Find Housing: The University Housing site has listings of both on-campus and off-campus housing.
  3. Online Orientation: Incoming transfer students are required to complete prior to the start of school.
  4. Thunder U : This in-person orientation is optional for transfer students. During Thunder U, we will introduce you to valuable resources across campus, show you how to get involved, and provide you with other important information. You also will be placed in an interest based group with 10-12 other students and get advice from a current student. If interested, please email [email protected] with your RSVP by August 1st along with your full name and T-number. This orientation provides tracks for both traditional and non-traditional students (for those over the age of 25, married, and/or with children). If you to opt out of attending Thunder U / Spring Orientation  you will need to attend the Title IX training during Thunder U. This in person training is required for all incoming students. You will receive all information about this training from the FYE office closer to the date.
  5. Get Connected: All first-time incoming students are given an ACE, keep in contact with your ACE as they will help you navigate your way around campus and throughout your time here at SUU.
