Office of Community & Academic Enrichment

The Office of Community & Academic Enrichment is home to several programs which help to enrich the academic experiences of community members through short-term, affordable education.

Community Professional Development

Through Community Professional Development, participants will have opportunities to customize professional portfolios by earning SUU Institutional Certificates. Classes are designed to increase marketability and teach new career-enhancing skills.

Community Education

Community Education creates fun, cultural, educational experiences for those who love to learn. Classes are taught by local professionals to increase community knowledge and skill building.

Community on the Go

Fun and affordable travel for the community to diverse destinations. Trips are led by SUU faculty experts who share their expertise with a group of travelers.

Summer Experiences

This program will highlight Cedar City as a summer destination for travelers from other communities. Participants will be able to tour the national parks, immerse themselves in Shakespeare Festival activities, and stay on-campus for affordable rates.

Road Creek Inn

Community members can book an educational vacation to Road Creek Inn, SUU’s Capitol Reef field station in Loa, Utah. The historic hotel serves as a retreat option for educational groups, family reunions, and more.

Concurrent Enrollment

The Concurrent Enrollment Program offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.
